Sunday Comes Along and I'm so Hungry I Wolf it Down

I have been at it with a tongue depressor and a medicine cup again.  These are things I use to make my brooches, pendants etc.  My good ole Mum works in health so I recycle (or pilfer) the smooth flat tongue depressors to smear on the resin and the measured cup make it easy to exact the two part resin, so i don't get disasters.

I have been experimenting with some new shapes ... have tried some hearts as they are dead simple to cut out and also to apply the resin to.  Get a duck here ...

I have also finished some wolves ... I like these little guys they are cute.

So as on ode to the yowling wolf I have picked some Etsy wolf stuff.  I filtered thorough all the crocheted dream catchers, wolf and naked woman under the moon posters and other assorted bad taste wolf things to find a few gems.

From Crave ... on Etsy

vintage wooden block from Dabbling in the Dew on Etsy

hey there little red riding hood ... here.

By Petrina Hicks ... I love her stuff, very talented Australian artist.

Nice wolf brooch...love Petrina's work...one of my fav books is Women Who Run With The Wolves...I wonder at the difference in behaviour of wolves and dingoes...will have to go off and research...

Cute?!! There ain't nothin' cute about a wolf. They are fiendly varmints wot snarl and bite... and occasionally when nobody's looking sing musical theatre numbers... unlike dingoes who are more into operettas.

That Red Riding Hood one is very good. It reminds me of Arthur Rackham even if it is by Warwick Goble. I still prefer tigers tho'... I have always depended on the stripiness of tigers...!

I like your 'letters?' wolf and the vintage wooden block one is cool also.

Hey I received my duck today. Thanks so much!!! Love it! I'm going to boast about my awesome win on my blog. Hope that's ok to do. The duck nicely ties in with what I'm planning to post about :)

Again, thanks heaps!
