I hate to start on a bad note, but I just found out that the chickens have met an untimely end. Dot and Sanchez the chickens have been killed by a feral cat. We will bury them and say some words;
"Dot and Sanchez, you were great chickens,
who laid us lots of eggs that we scrambled
and you really liked corn and grasshoppers ...
we will miss you, and we will build a better chook house
for your replacements"

the oh so clever and ever so appropriate Marc Johns ...
Now on a happier note Tracy Jacks has won the harky bird ... she's scared of needles but wants a tattoo ... my advice is have a Mars bar before you go in and just don't look ... This week I have a bunny to give away it's a pixie bunny, he's very cute and if you want it just leave me a comment x
Win this ... Oh how delightful
I was a little marketer this weekend, again with the help of my clever mum. We did the Portside Boutique markets. We had a good run, not as good as the Young Designers Market, but this was only the second time it has been on, so it's building up a reputation.
Anyway while I was there Mum bought me a sweet as little red felt brooch with a beautiful big wooden button from Sandrine, who also made me a custom felt neck warmer! Here are some dicky picks of me wearing my green felt creation. I had lots of comments on it today ...
I will be taking my little green felt number to the snow this weekend ... skiing. In need of a holiday as I nearly popped a vein today on the bus due to the ass hats in the middle NOT MOVING DOWN ... it's not that hard people really. People get off, space becomes available move your fat arse into the now vacant space. But no, they stand there wondering where the chomosomome they are missing might be ...
snow ... peaceful snow, with a log fire and the most wonderful gorgeous boy ...

Ahem, Sybil was wondering what do you mean - she's a gorgeous dog, not a boy. Surely a mistake... it IS a mistake innit?!
Lovely pictures of you and the brooch. You have a sweet smile and mischief in them thar eyes!
Snow...ski...now I am super Jaleous you know!!;)You look really great on the photos...maybe you can become a model for my goodies;)?!

Ohhh, you sound like me - I can't stand inconsiderate people! Love, love, love your outfit in that photo!!!
Have a gorgeous holiday :)
I love that each one of your brooches is a whole story unto itself. But I was wholly unprepared for the venting of public transport rage. I am so with you. You should have heard me when pregnant (uber feisty) and a regular London Tube user...
i am so sorry to hear about your chickens, though that marc johns piece is quite lovely. your blazer is great and the brooch on it is wonderful too. thank you so much for stopping by my blog!
RIP Dot and Sanchez... make your scratchings in chook heaven unearth many tasty bugs.
It's true - a mars bar will take away all pain.
Nice outfit by the way.
But v.sad about the poor chickens; RIP.
I'm devastated - those cute little chooks have gone to KFC Heaven. Such an untimely end. So much talent wasted ... sob ...
Enjoy the silence of the snow!
I love your Mum - please let her know that the groovy bag she made is now transporting my teaching books to and from school - so much better than my daggy plastic basket!
I especially love the button bubbles coming from the fish x
oh! I love the pixie bunny. So sorry about the chickens.
Your blog is fantastic. Thanks for stopping by my lowly one :)
