It's day one of the ANZAC long weekend and it's dreary old weather. However it's good weather for keeping indoors and making, creating and eating home cooked pizza. The chickens have been hard at work and we have about 12 nice fresh eggs in the fridge. The kitchen aid is calling their name. It's time for tea and cake!

Without her company and quick quips about the bogan hoards that streamed past us for eight hours I might just have stuck a fork in my eye to combat the boredom.

I am almost all prepared for my Lifestyle market tomorrow at South Bank, I have been making brooches, cards and my wonderful mum has been giving the sewing machine a good 'what for' and has pumped out a gaggle of matryoshka softies. I am slogging through the last Millennium novel and it's just really not a bus book. It's a tome, and weighs a tonne. I need a 'bus book', an 'lo and behold' I think I might have just found the perfect bus book. The Collectors Library gives you your bosom heaving classic fix with gilt edged pages and fabric bound spines. Ohhh la la. And they are little pocket size gems. I am off to the book store.

I heart bunnies and markets

Poor little blog has been neglected. I am busy with 'real' work and then in my off time I have been making cards like they are going out of fashion. The South Bank Young Designers Market is busting at the seams ... so they have opened up a few spots for designers at the Lifestyle Markets. I will be there with softies, cards, pendants and my brooches this Sunday 18 April.

Even more exciting is the first ever BrisStyle Indie Twilight Market. It will be held Friday from 5-9pm at King Gorge Square.
